Sinead takes homeless for a night on the tiles...

Did someone once say Sinead O'Connor had an accessory for every occasion? Personally I dis-remember so I guess it's just as well that Sinead (Sister Bernadette) O'Connor brought the perfect accessory to Focus Ireland's fundraiser for the homeless in the Burlington, which was a real life homeless person.

Sinead (aka Sister Bernadette) did her good deed of the day on her way to the party when I guess she just said to herself, charity for the homeless why wait until the money gets to them take them to the where the money comes from.

So, she (yes this is true) stopped the car in which she was in with her current on/off boyfriend Dermott Hayes and everyone's second favourite drag queen Mr Pussy (aka Alan Amsbey) and picked up a homeless person in the car. Then the assembled party hit the Burlington Hotel for dinner before leaving and hitting one of Dublin's top nightclubs located in the hotel, Club Anabel.

To do what I hear you cry. Well, to dance the night away of course. According to those in the club the homeless person stayed for an hour then Sinead introduced him to someone from the charity who insured the gent was given a bed to sleep in for the rest of the night before heading home after an exausting night on the town.

But, that was far from the end of Sinead's charity efforts for the week. Today at 6pm Sinead will join the Hairdressers £100,000 appeal for the homeless in Vicar Street in aid of Focus Ireland.
