Brosnan to tie the Knot in Ireland...

Keely Shay Smith has revealed that she and Pierce Brosnan are getting married in Ireland over the next eight weeks. No - it's not a long drawn out affair taking eight weeks in all, what they mean is that sometime in the next eight weeks, they will tie the knot.

It won't be in the next three weeks because Pierce is actually uncontactable - he's filming in Panama and not due in Ireland until the end of the month - so that means the tabloid sleuths can relax awhile. Keely said "Pierce proposed in October and I in turn accepted. Ireland is an important part of what Pierce is and I understand how close it is to his heart. So we are planning a Spring wedding in Ireland with Pierce's family and my own. We are both really looking forward to it."

So are we all. The wrap party for The Tailor of Panama with Oscar winner Jeffery Rush and Jamie Lee Curtis will be thrown in Ireland (it's a Boorman film).

Even though Pierce has four more movie projects on the burner he will take a break and make his wedding plans. Keely will fly in soon after Pierce (What a relief - it takes two to marry these days, doesn't it?) with their son Dylan.
