Westlife's
Live weekend...
Dane Bowers (Another Level and former
boyfriend of Jordan) took to the decks in Lillies
Bordello on Saturday night for a Westlife
party after their Sky Television Live around the World
show in the Point. Mark Feehily from the band
hit the dance floor for Dane's entire set, as
well as the following set by Lillies resident DJ Tommy
Stewart of Universal Music.
Shy Kian Egan spent the night surrounded by
a hoard of lovely ladies. At another table Keith
Duffy from Boyzone arrived for the party
with his wife Lisa but Westlife's Nicky,
Shane and Bryan all missed the party.
Friends
of the band told ShowBizIreland.com that the
lads were just too tired after rehearsals and the
show on live TV. Earlier in the Point in Dublin the
band went on stage one hour early for the TV show.
However,
it was not all fun and games for the lads as one Sunday
newspaper reported that the band were currently in
breach of Irish company law. According to yesterday's
Sunday Independent the band's official company Bluenet
Ltd which is controlled by members of the band broke
company law by dishing out to many directors loans
to its members.
The
aggregate value at December 31, 1999 of loans advanced
to directors was in excess of the 10 per cent limit
of net assets specified in section 32 of the company's
act according to documents.
Bluenet,
which began trading in November 1999 is equally owned
by the five members of the band. The company had net
liabilities of £2,953 by the end of the financial
year. Its current assets were made up £89,491 owed
by debtors and £63,618 in cash.
This however does not mean the band are in any financial
trouble as during the week Shane Filan from the band
splashed out £20,000 on a brad new Gucci wardrobe.
