Bridget Jones party hits Dublin...

Hollywood actress Renee Zellwegger really go into the Irish drinking spirit over the weekend ShowBizIreland.com can reveal. The petite Texan star was in town for the premier of her latest film Bridget Jones Diary in Dublin’s Savoy Theatre. Following the Premier party in Mimo in the Powerscourt Centre in Dublin and a night of dancing the actress headed into the nearby SPY bar owned by former Boyzone boss John Reynolds.

According to ShowBizIreland.com sources the actress then ordered a full bottle of tequila to keep the party alive.

She had earlier danced the night away with her fellow stars from the film to seventies tribute band Boogie Nights. Speaking to us at the premier Renee said she and Bridget Jones had a lot in common. "We have a lot in common. I haven’t been on a date in seven months. That’s how similar we are. But, I loved playing the role."

When asked about rumours of romance between herself and co-star Hugh Grant, Renee said, "I’m very flattered that people would think that. But, I only heard about it earlier when I was in the bathroom. I’m really flattered that people might think Hugh found me attractive but there is nothing going on."

That star wore a Marc Jacobs black suit to the premier and shyly told us about her next film project which she will star along with Michelle Pfeiffer.
