Popstars Hear'Say to play The Point...

UK Popstars, Hear'Say will be in Ireland next week on Wednesday the 18th of April for a huge press conference in Dublin's Westbury hotel to announce their first Irish concert in September. The TV show creations will perform at the Point, with tickets expected to be snapped up within minutes of going on sale.

The group, who became an overnight record-breaking success with a No1 debut single, are planning a UK and Ireland tour.

A source close to the group said: "It is going to be a massive occasion. They will sell out all the big arenas instantly. They are going to perform at the Point Theatre in September and we are looking at a couple of specific dates. They could end up doing two or three nights if the demand is big enough - which it will be. They are already working on ideas and routines for the tour - management behind them are anxious to strike while the iron's still hot. They might never be as big as they are now so the idea is to get out on the road and play the big shows."

There will also be concerts at Belfast's Odyssey Arena and at Wembley and Manchester.

The source said: "There will be a 1million pound stage set and more than 150 people working on the production side of the show. Hear'Say have the fan power at the minute to sell out 100 nights around the UK and Ireland," according to the Irish Mirror.
