Eddie Jordan's Grand Prix Taster in Dublin...

Commenting on the teams lack lustre performance of late, Eddie Jordan said: "I'm doing the absolute best I can do. And right at the moment it's not good enough".

"I'm trying lots of different things and I feel confident I'm going to pull out of this" he went on.

When asked if he would ever consider selling the racing team he quipped: "What else would I do?!", but added, "I gave up working in a bank to do something. I still think that I have a lot of energy and knowledge to give to the team. If I thought the time was right or it was important for me to let a younger pair of hands take over, then sure I would consider it."

For the rest of the F1 season, Irish fans will be able to join in with some F1 action, as the San Marino Grand Prix coincides with the first of 13 Jordan-themed events to be held at HQ in Dublin.

Every Grand Prix race day, fans will be able to watch the race on a big screen, with other F1 and Jordan supporters, and listen to a live phone interview with a Jordan race team member who will phone in from the circuit, wherever in the world that may be!

Themed food will add to the Grand Prix atmosphere, with dishes characteristic of the race location, for example pizzas for Imola and paella for Spain.

Admitting that he was feeling a bit stressed and glad to have a relaxing day in Dublin, ShowBizIreland.com asked him if he still had his luxury yacht. "I still have it. If you know anyone who wants to charter it I can give you the captains name", he joked.
