Yesterday's
match was a great day-out for all concerned even though
Duffy's team of mainly Coronation Street stars
were trounced 4-1 by a selection of ex-footballers
picked by football pundit Johnny Giles.

But
the final score was hardly a concern, the annual football
match is all about raising money for The Childline
charity and a fun day for kids who get to see
their pop star and small screen heros in a unique
light.

As
Keith Duffy said yesterday: "It was a laugh and
we're helping to keep Childline open for the kids.
That's the main thing."
