John Cena-nuff of Sheamus...
It's officially cool to watch wrestling again folks. Yup. Since the glory days reign of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant and The Ultimate Warrior professional grappling seemed to become all a bit meh. But now the WWE has a massive ginger headed Dubliner by the name of Sheamus knocking the tripe outta everyone, it has suddenly become very interesting again...

The enormous and unstoppable WWE machine rolled into town on Friday and Saturday night with Smackdown and Raw respectively taking-over The O2 Arena on the subsequent nights. We're talking thousands of hyped-up kids and just as many adults that forgot to grow-up, you'd think it'd be a fricken tedious nightmare. But not so.

For there is a new Sheriff in town who only answers to Sheamus. He's pale, he's mean, and comes from Cabra. Plus, he has the home crowd behind him in a manner last witnessed when the Irish soccer team played Italia '90. Yup. Sheamo will end the recession and restore balance in the Force.

On Saturday night WWE Champ and all-round perfect posterboy John Cena took on former WWE Champ Sheamus at the O2 Arena and found himself in a heaving cauldron of screaming Dubliners willing their fellow native to batter the bejasus out of the invading Yank. And batter him he sure as hell did.

In an epic to-and-fro Rocky-esque match-up, Cena and Sheamus countered and countered again bringing the entire stadium to its feet in total awe of the Main Event grapple which brought both super fit men to the edge.

Usually the guy everyone cheers for, John Cena was visibly shocked by the reaction of Sheamus' home fans who lifted the roof off The O2 and almost gave the Celtic Warrior the adrenaline rush and inspiration to regain the WWE Championship belt.

Alas, it wasn't to be as ring enforcer Bret 'The Hitman' Hart got involved in the fight for the briefest of moments, distracting the gargantuan Irishman, allowing John Cena to hit his finisher and steal the 3 count... But the story didn't end there.

Sensing the Irish fans were none too pleased with the outcome, the WWE champ was humbled (or scared shitless!) by the O2 faithful and made the unprecedented move of handing the title belt over to Sheamus to awesome applause.

From there, moral victor Sheamus, grabbed the mic and passionately addressed his fans leading to huge chants of "You'll Never Beat The Irish" ringing around the event centre. Marvellous stuff. Sure, it all may sound a tad cheesy , but if you had of been there, you'd have been chanting like a maniac too...

A fantastic night filled with escapism, nostalgia, and spectacle. Cheering the goodies, booing the baddies, and drooling over the uber hot WWE Divas... What more could you want?

And the celebrations didn't end there either. Sheamus and a group of the WWE Superstars including Ted DiBiase, Kelly Kelly, MVP, Mark Henry, and Chris Masters hit the VIP bar in Sam Sara before heading on to Lillies Bordello - coincidentally the club where our boy Sheamo used to work as a bouncer.

So there you have it folks. Wrestling is cool again and Ireland has a new National hero that doesn't back down from a scrap or a mighty challenge... We're predicting it won't be too long before Sheamus is World Champion once again thus, restoring the economy.
