REM
recording secretly in Ireland...
The
rumour machine in Ireland is going into overdrive
this week with numerous reports that international
supergroup REM are here in secret recording
their album. Sources at a celebrity auction in the
Beverly Hills of Dublin, Killiney told ShowBizIreland.com
that the band were expected to turn up last Saturday
for the event which included guests such as Bono
from U2.
Speaking
to ShowBizIreland.com recently Hollywood star
Jane Seymore who was staying in a private residence
in Kiliney said that she had also been told that the
next stars due at the residence were REM.
REM
failed to show at the charity event in Killiney but
the UK TV star and DJ Chris Evans did make
an appearance on Tuesday on the charity circuit.
The event was the Ronan Keating celebrity golf
classic. So, it's always helps when you've got friends
who can afford to throw away £50,000 at the drop of
a hat. That's why Ronan Keating had friends like Chris
around on Tuesday for the annual Maire Keating
fund celebrity golf classic in the K-club.
Chris
turned up out of the blue on Tuesday and gave Ronan
a £50,000 cheque for the fund as well as buying a
Tiger Woods signed t-shirt for £3,500. This
of course comes only days after Pepsi Cola
paid £40,000 for Bono's banger at a charity bash in
Kiliney Castle.
Although they did only get £1,700 for Robbie Williams'
T-shirt from Slane Castle. Maybe Tiger's got
more because it wasn't at all sweaty. The good thing
about Bono's banger was that for £40,000 you even
got to meet the former owner, Bono. Who made a guest
appearance.
The
U2 star told those at the ball that he had just put
the final touches to U2 new album which should be
out for Halloween.
