Beck & Winona the latest ShowBiz couple?

Last week Ireland's most romantic setting Humewood Castle was the secret location for Hollywood newest couple (well Brad and Jennifer are so last month, aren't they?). Hollywood sweetie Winona Ryder, who's previous conquests include Oscar winner Matt Damon spent the week with the American rocker Beck, in Humewood under the wing of the fabulous hostess of the castle Renatta Coleman.

When Beck moved on out of Ireland Ryder moved to U2's hotel The Clarence where she spent a few girlie days shopping around Dublin.

One wonders could Winona be seeking refuge from the critics. Her new movie with Richard Gere "Autumn in New York" already looks set be a major box-office turkey.

The glossy romance drama opened in the US last Friday, but the studio didn't let film critics near it until the day it opened in cinemas. Tinseltown insiders say they're afraid they've made a very bad casting decision and that audiences are not going to buy the love interest between Gere and the younger Ryder.

The two actors made no bones about the fact that they hated working together and those who've seen bits of the film say they have no on-screen chemistry at all. MGM insists this is because they don't want critics to give away the surprise ending.
