Can Louis Walsh Please Leave the House!!

Ireland's Louis Walsh to co-host a new show which is slated in the media to be a mix between Popstars and Big Brother. Oh will it ever end??

The show is TV's latest attempt to turn wannabes into chart sensations, with viewers choosing the final line-up.

And Big Brother host Davina McCall has been unveiled as host of The Rivals, with Geri Halliwell, Pete Waterman and Westlife manager Louis Walsh lined up as judges.

Viewers will evict shortlisted contestants one by one until they are left with two bands one girl group and one boy group who will go head to head for a Christmas number one.

The original Popstars show created Hear'Say in the UK and SIX in Ireland, but the follow-up has a new twist by promising part reality TV and part talent contest.

As in the first Popstars series, wannabes will be put through their paces in auditions in front of TV cameras.
