Sinead's Back with Old Style Tunes...

Ireland's most controversial singer ever Sinead O'Connor is going back on the road with old style tracks.

With a new album she will be performing a collection of well-known Irish songs, titled Sean-Nós Nua.

The album is being released on Hummingbird Records on October 7th. Featuring many distinguished musicians, this record is ideally suited to Sinead's uniquely expressive interpretation.

She will of course also perform her world famous this such as Nothing Compares to you.

Among the guests performing with Sinead on the album are some of Ireland's best contemporary musicians along with English based musicians from the US, Syria, Jamaica and the UK.

The title of her new album refers to the musical style - 'Sean-Nós' meaning old style, 'Nua' meaning new.

These well-known songs have been enhanced with new rhythms and sounds to give a distinctive reworking.
