Although now booted out of Big Brother and no possibility of getting back in to the house, Finglas native Spiral isn't letting the grass-grow-under-his-feet.

Instead the cheeky-chappie is taking full advantage of his current celebrity status and cashing in with the rapid release of his controversial single "Finglas" which, is a catchy rhyme about robbing cars and run-ins with the Gardai on the mean streets of the North-side.

And it seems his strategy has paid off with Finglas being the only new entry into the Irish Top Ten, coming in at number nine just ahead of Infernal - From Paris To Berlinand right behind Nelly Furtado - Maneater...

And with Big Brother still in the news and building up to the final evictions, no doubt Spiral will be back on the Channel 4 show this weekend promoting his new tunes. He might just get a Number One!

After partying with pals Spiral shot off in his stretch Limo for an imminent meeting with Pop guru Louis Walsh who was judging the You're A Star competition at DCU. Who knows, if Louis takes on the young Dubliner, we could see a lot more of his songs challenging for the top spot in the charts...
