Sheridan's Spanish Thesis...

The Oscar-nominated Irish film-maker Jim Sheridan is now lining up his projects to work on. The man behind My Left Foot has now been looking overseas for his next project, a remake of the Spanish thriller Tesis. Writer-director-producer Sheridan has bought the rights to the original film and will produce a new version himself under the title Thesis.

The original film centres on a young graduate film student whose obsession with violence in the media leads her into a cat-and-mouse game with a male colleague whom she comes to believe is a killer.

Sheridan also confirmed recently that he hopes to make a New York based movie called East of Harlem in which he hopes to get Ewan McGregor and Kate Winslet.
