Enya's Tolkien visit to the Lord of the Rings...

The publicity shy Irish singer Enya arrived in London last night for the world premiere of the long awaited Lord of the Rings movie.

The multi million dollar movie is the first of the trilogy to be released based on the books of JRR Tolkien.

Enya's surprise appearance tops a list of who's who within the London social elite. She recorded a number of songs for the film with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

She is already one of the world's best selling female artists and is very publicity shy. Bob Geldof and Graham Norton were the only other Irish stars to make the premiere which was attended by the film's director Peter Jackson and most of the film's cast including Elijah Wood, Ian Holm, Sean Bean, Liv Tyler and Christopher Lee.

Other VIP's who attended the premiere included Ruby Wax, A1, Paul Young, Liberty and Mick Hucknall.
