Irish stars Rock the Pope...

Irish stars such as The Cranberries and Westlife rocked the Vatican over the weekend as they put on a private show for the Pope.

The stars went to Rome to perform for the Pope in a show which will be broadcast around the world on Christmas eve.

Westlife sang their hit World of our Own before they joined the Cranberries on stage for a duet of the Little Drummer Boy.

Meanwhile in Dublin Ronan Keating hosted a Christmas party in his new 2 million pound house.

The house which is located in Malahide on the outskirts of Dublin played host to over 100 guests on Saturday night.

Among the VIP's invited were the Irish prime Minister Bertie Ahern and his girlfriend Celia Larkin, Patrick Kielty and his girlfriend Amanda Byram and the racing driver Damon Hill.
