Ronan Mends Fences with Father...

According to Irish press reports Ronan Keating has made up with his father after a four year row which erupted after the tragic death of his mother Maire to cancer.

The 25 year old Dubliner spoke openly about how he pushed his father away and started boozing after her death.

At the time Ronan publicly slated his father Gerry for not giving him all the love he needed - instead he depended on his late mother to give him all the emotional support.

He was quoted in the Sunday World as saying: "We did drift apart because I said a lot of things that upset him. It was wrong of me and I certainly shouldn't have said them publicly. I was being childish and bitter and I wasn't thinking of him. I only thought of myself, which was wrong, and I am sorry for it."

"I'd started drinking too much and I know I would have lost it completely if it hadn't been for Yvonne. I tell my wife everyday that I love her and I go out of my way to do special things for her," he went on to say.

Rumours are also abound that Ronan is off to the glittering lights of Hollywood after being offered a leading movie role by legendary movie producer Joel Schumacher who was in Dublin this year filming the Veronica Guerin Story with Cate Blanchett.
