Angel Star Glenn Quinn has Died...

Irish actor Glenn Quinn, famous for his role as Doyle in the smash TV series Angel, passed away last Tuesday from a suspected drug overdose.

Quinn, who got his first TV break on the US sitcom Roseanne, was found dead in a friend's house in North Hollywood - no foul play was suspected.

A native of Dublin, Quinn moved to the US in 1988 with his mother and two sisters after his parents divorced. According to press reports Glenn and his father had become good friends in recent years.

Apparently his father was not informed of his son's death until several days later giving him no time to attend the funeral which was scheduled for last Saturday.

Glenn Quinn passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2002.
