Even so many people were confused why Fran got picked for the top ITV show, which has relaunched many a celebrity's career, but in no time at all in the jungle he became a hot favourite to win with his fearless actionman persona.

ShowBiz Ireland caught up with Fran for a drink in Lillies Bordello on Saturday night were he was partying with his celebrity hairdresser mate Adee Phelan after appearing on the Ryan Tubridy show.

Fran obviously had a great night back in his home town as when we caught up with him again the following morning at a photoshoot in the Merrion Hotel he was still wearing the same clothes and looking a little bit fragile.

So much so that whilst posing with a tray of Guinness in the Hotel's manicured foliage he spilled the lot down his front...
