Tons of talented musicians played gigs in Ireland in recent days; Bob Geldof, Robert Plant & Ian Brown to name a few - but our favourite performance had to be Nizlopi singing The JCB Song on The Late Late Show...

LUKE (NIZLOPI) & FATHER KIERAN CONCANNON @ THE LATE LATE

If you haven't heard the song about a young boy sitting in the cab of his Irish father's JCB while growing up in England, called The JCB Song, then you surely will in the coming weeks as it looks set to get the coveted Christmas Number One spot.

JOHN PARKER & LUKE CONCANNON (NIZLOPI) WITH KIERAN CONCANNON @ THE LATE LATE

Penned by Luke Concannon and performed by his band Nizlopi the song has become a sleeper hit; gaining cult fame on the internet with a hilarious animated video (click here to see it now).

Luke performed his digger song with fellow band member John Parker (also of Irish extraction) on The Late Late and was watched by his proud father Keiran who sat in the front row of the RTE studio.

Another talented singer Lucie Silvas also performed on the Late Late Show and Irish comedian Brendan O'Carroll showed off his new wife before jetting off to Florida on Honeymoon...

And speaking of talented singers former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant played The Olympia Theatre last week - ShowBiz Ireland didn't get too many good shots from this gig as our photographer got mistakenly placed on the side of the actual stage instead of in front of it... Bob Geldof was also about the city in past few days playing a concert in Vicar Street. Bob admitted the only time he gets nervous is when he plays his home town as he knows his relatatives are in the crowd!
