Oops we did it again folks. Our snaps of Naomi Campbell getting ambushed by an animal rights protestor yesterday evening have set-off a huge hullabaloo on almost every gossip website on the web. The aging supermodel held back her notorious rage as an irate anti-fur protestor shoved a placard in her face - and somehow lived to tell the tale...

So when we found-out she was in Dublin yesterday to give a talk to the Trinity College Philosophical Society (intellectually riveting, we’re sure), we sharpened our lenses in expectation of one of her infamous tantrums or mobile phone hurling rampages. She's a tad feisty.

But for once the Supermodel remained straight-faced and even tranquil when confronted by a very brave animal-rights protestor who shoved a shocking banner of a confined self-harming fox in her face, and barked protests at her for modelling real fur and wearing real fur.

Amazingly, Miss Campbell was unphased by the cantankerous campaigner and continued to her waiting car with Bono's wife Ali Hewson and her billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin in tow...

Naomi was whisked away in a chauffer driven car with her two rather distinguished pals in the back, and was soon at The Phil in Trinners to bestow a speech on the unworthy students who had gathered en masse to hear her little drops of wisdom.

We wonder if the 38-year-old catwalker explained to her educated audience why she starred in a Peta anti fur advert back in 1997, only to be on a Milan runway wearing a real fur coat a mere few months later? Probably not.

With all the furore and kafuffle over Miss Campbell's coats we wonder why the animal righters haven't said anything about her collection of wigs? We reckon a poor horse somewhere is missing a tail from the look of the one on her barnet whilst in Dublin.

Well folks, we really hope Naomi got the message from her brief yet enlightening trip to these glorious shores. Yup. Let’s hope she gets some better quality wigs! Oh, and stops endorsing that torturous and degrading caged existence on the world's true fashion victims.
