O we had a time getting snaps of the very talented and extremely elusive Tracy Chapman in Dublin last week... But persistence folks, as they say, pays off in the end.

We papped the South African singer arm-in-arm with a mystery lady on a chilly night out in the city centre – and true-to-form she didn't really appreciate being pictured with her attractive female friend. Tracy quickly dodged past our photographer and disappeared into Lillies Bordello nightclub hiding her face behind her trademark dreadlocks. Talk about a revelation.

The amazingly gifted black feminist, who has always been reticent about her sexual orientation, had a top night in partying in Lillies. We hear she even instructed the resident DJ Tommy Stewart what tunes to lay down and had everyone up on the dance floor giving it socks! Go Tracy.
