ShowBiz at the Corrs launch?
ShowBizIreland.com
was last night barred from covering the launch of
a hair salon which was opened by the Irish supergourp
The Corrs. The salon is also the same one they
are rumoured to be financial partners in. Yesterday
afternoon a photocall notice was sent around the Irish
media that the chart topping Dundalk band would be
officially open the new Dylan Bradshaw cutting
edge hair salon on Dublin's South William Street.
Andrea
at the recent Beckett launch
However, when ShowBizIreland.com called the
PR company to inquire about the launch we were told
that that we were not invited. This turn comes only
a week after Andrea Corr, the band's lead singer,
canceled a number of Corr's concert's disappointing
thousands of fans. The singer was then spotted 48
hours later back in Dublin running in a local park
before spending Thursday night out parting at the
launch of Beckett on Film in Dublin Castle.
This incident comes just over a month after Jim
Corr's ex-girlfriend attacked the editor of ShowbizIreland.com
(read
about it here) with a glass in Lillies Bordello.
The
hair salon which is state of the art and cost thousands
to lay out is run under the name Dylan Bradshaw, the
hairdresser who owns the salon and who is a friend
of the band. Rumours on the Dublin social circuit
are that the band have some financial interest in
the salon hence why they are going out of their way
to launch it.
A
spokesperson for the Corrs told ShowBizIreland.com
last night that they knew nothing about it. "It's
not our event so I don't know anything about it."
While a spokesperson for the salon said "it was nothing
personal."
Well
... That's ShowBiz???
