Geldof's
Irish tour comes to a close...
Ex Boomtown Rat Bob Geldof delighted crowds
of transfixed fans at his first Dublin gig in years
when he played Vicar Street on Monday night.
The
veteran rock idol played tracks from his latest album
Sex, Blood, & Death which has been described
as a confession. "I can only ever write about
that which happens to me or my response to situations,"
said Geldof. "So for who's ever interested, besides
myself, this is the latest installment of the diary."

Prior
to the gig ShowBizIreland.com asked Bob how
he felt about playing his home town. "I'm nervous
about it as I'm always nervous about playing here.
It's the home team and you know the album did well
here and got good reviews. The gigs have sold well
so I guess I'm surprised and pleased."
Geldof's
Irish tour took in venues in Waterford, Cork, Limerick,
Dublin, and ended last night in Belfast.
