Irish chat show host Brendan Courtney saw a difficult first year in the media with varying levels of satisfaction with his tongue-in-cheek TV show - but the good news is the comic has been granted a well-deserved second season on TV3.

And we feel the extension is justified as our Brendan attracted some great guests this year with highlights such as Sinead O'Connor going AWOL and Celebrity Big Brother's Chantelle's first TV interview...

On his last show this year (prerecorded on Monday) Bren had a heavily pregnant former Miss Ireland & Sunday World journalist Amanda Brunker showing off her Demi Moore inspired naked front cover of Capital Magazine.
