Day-Lewis slammed by former love...

Wicklow's favourite adopted son Daniel Day Lewis (My Left Foot and The Boxer) has been slammed by his ex-girlfriend after dumping her by fax while she was seven months pregnant. French star Isabelle Adjani has spoken of her painful break up with the Oscar winner who is the father of her young son Gabriel Kane (5).

She revealed that the she had lived in the couple's house in Annamoe, Co Wicklow with the actor for several months before she was cruelly dumped by him.

She also said that she would not visit Ireland with her son until she has gotten over the split. The actor has since become a doting daddy to his new son Ronan who he had with current wife Rebecca Miller.

Their wedding was so secret that another girlfriend; besotted Deya Pichardo, still thought they were living together.
