A selection of the world’s biggest pop stars flocked to Dublin on Saturday night for the annual Childline concert in the Point. Included on the star studded guest list were pops latest high profile couple, DJ Chris Evans and singer Billy Piper who booked into the Fitzwilliam Hotel on St Stephens Green. Sources in the hotel said the reports that the couple had broke up were totally inaccurate and they were together.

“They were together in the bar, very much together. They were kissing in the bar and then she went upstairs with her dancers. Kian from Westlife and Shane Lynch from Boyzone were also in the bar” the ShowBizIreland.com source said.

Evans was just one of the VIP guests who watched the show along with the 7,000 fans who attended the sold out show. Hosted by Keith Duffy and Samantha Mumba the concert raised over £120,000 for Childline.

Performers included Westlife, Billie Piper, Atomic Kitten, A1, Louise, Stephen Gately, Reel, Girl Thing, Vanessa Amorasi and Silver.

The concert was followed by a VIP party in Dublin’s Planet Hollywood.
