Enya happily single at 40...

Reclusive singer Enya may be the biggest selling Irish female of all time but she admits that being a career girl has meant that she has no man and no kids at 40.

"People say to me, you are not married and you have no children. But, it was my choice. I really love what I do. It's terrible to put pressure on yourself. I'd rather think that if it's going to happen that's fine."

She went on to say, "At the moment I'm single. When I'm working hard it's too much of a strain on the relationship. I find a man has to understand that if things are to work out. Men demand a lot of your attention and I can't give it to them. Sadly, that's the way it is."

The singer who has a castle in Ireland said she would like kids but if it happens it happens. "I feel like it's going to happen as far as children and stuff are concerned. I want to feel that I'm in a relationship that's right for me. I know it will happen some day.
