PICS, STORY: WAYNE CRONIN
Dream
Team beat Duffy's All Stars...
Fever
pitch reached Tolka Park on Saturday as The
Keith Duffy All Stars played Sky One's Dream
Team for the annual 7-Up charity challenge,
in aid of Childline.
Stars
from the music, TV and sport industries showed off
their footie talent in front of thousands of fans,
who certainly had a memorable day out.
Dream
Team's sexy Alison King sporting the fashion
accessory for every occasion, a ShowBiz Ireland
cap!
Among the stars making the trip over from the UK were
Michael Greco and Dean Gaffney from
Eastenders (Bepe and Robbie), MTV's Dane
Bowers and Joe Eliott of Def Leopard.
Among
those representing the Dream Team were Terry Kiley
(Karl Fletcher), Scott Taylor (Danny Rawsthorne)
and the firm favourite with the girls Jim Alexander
who plays Jamie Parker.
Unfortunately
former Boyzone members Stephen Gately
and Mikey Graham were unable to attend due
to other commitments.
Some
might say it was an unfair matching as The Dream Team
crew play the game on a regular basis, but the All
Stars did a fantastic job, despite being beaten 3-1!
Speaking at a post match reception the gorgeous Alison
King who plays Lynda Block commented on
how much she loves Ireland.
"We
always have such a wonderful time in Dublin, it's
definitely a party capital."
And party they certainly did... trooping to Spy bar
and then on to Lillies Bordello till the early
hours of Sunday morning.
No rest for the wicked as some of the stars were attending
the Childline concert in The Point the
next day.
