Corrie Stars Start New Year in Dublin...

No rest for the wicked, especially if you work for ShowBiz Ireland! While the rest of the world was out celebrating New Year's Eve we were hard at work following celebs about Dublin late into the night.

But if all celebs were as nice as the Coronation Street cast we'd have a far easier job. Nine of the primetime soap's stars turned up in Ireland a couple of days after Christmas to see in 2003 in Dublin and boy did they party.

From all accounts the cast, which included Simon Gregson, Lucy Jo Hudson, Angela Lonsdale, Jonathan Wrather, Sally Lindsay, Suranne Jones, Chris Bisson, Samia Ghadie and our own Keith Duffy, saw most of the City's hot-spots in a matter of days.

They finished off their Dublin visit by celebrating New Year's Eve in Tamangos Niteclub in the Sands Hotel. They all looked pretty dapper having been kitted-out earlier in the day by celebrity suit maker Louis Copeland. Pinstripe was all the rage in Portmarnock that night.
