The cast of Coronation Street cooled off after an enjoyable few days in Dublin by going ice-skating in Smithfield on New Year's Eve.

Nine of the Soap's stars swapped the comfort of the Rovers Return for a spin on the Dublin City on Ice outdoor rink sponsored by Bupa Ireland.

The cast members that turned up included Simon Gregson, Lucy Jo Hudson, Angela Lonsdale, Jonathan Wrather, Sally Lindsay, Suranne Jones, Chris Bisson, Samia Ghadie and of course Keith Duffy.

Most of the Corrie stars were a bit wobbley at first but gradually got the hang of it and even started to show off. That was until Simon Gregson (who plays Steve McDonald) had a bit of a tumble just out of sight of our cameras - after that they were a little more humble!
