launch the 2nd Jameson Dublin International Film
Festival...

may only be the 2nd ever Jameson Dublin International
Film Festival but already there is a buzz in the air
with the anticipation of another great 11 days of
movies and movie stars in our nation's capital.

And
apart from having probably the longest name of all
film festivals in the world, the guest list for this
year's event would make anyone sit-up and take notice.

famous faces expected at the event thus far include:
Stephen Rea, Naomi Watts, Benicio Del Toro, Val
Kilmer, Joseph Fiennes, Bernardo Bertolucci, Charlize

Gleeson was there last night to formerly launch the
event and was presented with a personalised bottle
of Jameson Whiskey.
Irish
actor Lorcan Cranitch and filmmaker Alan
Gilsenan also supported the launch.
But
the question on everyone's lips was will Colin
Farrell show up at the event after being the poster-boy
for the festival last year?
The
festival will run from 12th of February - 22nd at
the Screen, Savoy, UGC, and IFI with
97 features from 35 countries.
