Oasis
do it Dublin Style...
It was a weekend of drink, music and Bono for
Rock's wildest brothers in Dublin over the weekend
(well one of them anyway) as the Oasis gravytrain
rolled into Ireland for the bands first gig back together
with Noel Gallagher after he walked out in
the middle of their US tour.
Playing
to over 40,000 fans on Saturday night Oasis rocked
Lansdowne Road stadium only 24 hours after
papers reported that in on official statement Patsy
Kensit, Liam Gallagher's wife confirmed that the
couples three year marriage was over for good.
However,
despite the personal pressure on Liam he still managed
to party for the entire weekend starting on Friday
night in the bands luxury five star hotel The Merrion.
Located beside the Irish Parliament Liam enjoyed
the hotels bar on Friday night until after 2am followed
by another night of boozing with U2 frontman
Bono after Saturday night's gig.
The
U2 star had been a guest at the concert with his wife
Ali. At 4am on Saturday morning both Liam and
Bono were spotted outside U2's night-club The Kitchen
in Dublin's Temple Bar.
Speaking
during the concert Liam assured fans that the band
were not splitting up despite media reports. "There's
been a lot of shit in the press about us recently.
But, I can tell you we're not breaking up."
However,
relations between the Gallagher brothers may have
been a little more strained as regulars found out
on Friday night in The Merrion hotel when Liam exploded
after a fan asked how his brother Noel was.
Further
proof of the brothers relationship came as Noel insisted
on staying in a different hotel to Liam beside the
venue of the concert.
