Woody parties with Guggi...

Hollywood actor Woddy Harrelson best known for the hit movie "The people V Larry Flint" spent last night (Monday) parting with U2's singer Bono's best mate and artist Guggi. The actor arrived in late last night to the exclusive Lillies Bordello nightclub in Dublin with the artist after jetting up to Dublin after the launch of his new film at the Galway Film Fleadh.

Bono was presumably to busy to make the party as U2 just never seems to stop thesedays. The band's management has finally confirmed that U2 is in the studio finishing up a new album, which is being produced by the blissful Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and rumoured for an autumn release.

It should be completed in the coming weeks, with additional details pending until important items, such as the album title and release date, are decided upon.

U2 will most likely plan a tour in 2001 to support the album but rumours are already about that the band may next play Slane to over 80,000 people.

The Slane concert is Ireland's biggest and if they play next year it will be their 20th anniversary. The played alongside fellow Irish band Thin Lizzy in 1981.
