Vinnie Jones to hit Dublin...

Recently relocated to Hollywood to become a movie star Vinnie Jones is coming to Dublin. But, don't tell anyone it's a surprise. The former hardman of football and star of the hit Hollywood blockbuster "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" is secretly jetting into Dublin this Thursday to promote his latest movie.

Jones will be the guest of honour on Thursday night for the Irish Premier of "Gone in 60 seconds," which also stars Oscar winner Nicolas Cage , Robert Duvall and Angela Jolie.

The premier will be held in the Ster Century Cinema in Liffey Valley shopping centre followed by a VIP party afterwards. The movie has had mixed reviews since it opened in the states.

But, Vinnie not to blame he only has a handful of lines. No doubt after the party Vinnie will hit Dublin's trendy Lillies Bordello and Renards night-club which he visited on his last trip here.

The film is produced by Jerry Bruckenhimer who also has his eyes set on a Hollywood version of the Veronica Guerin story.
