Begorrah!! Travolta's Irish...

Hollywood star John Travolta has said that he is Irish and is about to join the long line of big stars who now claim they come from the Emerald Isle...

The actor who is currently staring in Swordfish with Vinnie Jones says that he now plans to make a movie and trace his history in Ireland.

The star will go to Kenmare in County Kerry where he is related to the Burkes and the Murphy's.

"I've been all over the place down there. Finding out stuff like where they lived," Travolta told the Irish Press.

"I'm half Irish and I've been there a lot. My mom's Irish. I love it and would love to make a movie in Ireland. But, no company has offered me the right package but I would adore it."

Well, maybe Kenmare isn't the ideal location for Saturday Night Fever - more like Saturday Night Foot-Slappin'!!
