Matt's
Reign of Heroism...
Actor
Matthew McConaughey became a real-life hero
when he gave mouth to mouth to a man who suffered
a seizure during the promoting of his Irish made movie
Reign of Fire.
The 32-year-old Texan was promoting his new film,
Reign Of Fire, which was made in Wicklow based Ardmore
Studious. He was at New York's Regency Hotel when
a sound man from US entertainment show Access Hollywood
collapsed, according to the New York Daily News.
McConaughey
helped the man until medics arrived and took over.
Reign
Of Fire, which opens in Ireland in August, is set
in London but was filmed in Ireland, sees a fire-breathing
dragon and its offspring wreak havoc after they are
woken from a century-long slumber.
A
firefighter called Quinn, played by Christian
Bale, wards off the beasts and keeps a community
alive as they eke out a meager existence.
