to WITNNESS Oasis Again...
Following
from their Witnness gig last night Ireland
is set to get another dose of Oasis this summer.
The Gallagher brothers are set to return for
a Northern Irish gig in Derry on August 17th.

was only announced over the weekend when the band
rocked the Witnness music festival in usual Noel
and Liam style.

Oasis
joined the Foo Fighters in the baking sunshine
for the sell-out show for one of the best line-ups
Ireland has ever seen. Fans
also basked under unbroken blue skies at the Fairyhouse
racecourse.
Over
40,000 fans soaked up the rays while listening to
world class bands and DJs.

who attended the party included Jo Absolom
and Kasey Ainsworth from Eastenders,
actor Cillian Murphy, Leeds football star,
Robbie Keane and all members of Six
all turned out for some festival fun.
Among the highlights of the weekend were Polyphonic
Spree (opening the day to the bizarre sight of
twenty-something folk in white robes crooning away
to their hearts' content).
THE
REVS - the Donegal punky pop kids delivering yet
another high-octane set and No Doubt with lead
singer Gwen providing a few gasps from the
crowd as she scaled the stage rig to the top of the
main stage.
