Legendary New York solo artist Suzanne Vega kicked off her Irish tour dates when she played Vicar Street on Saturday night.

Suzanne was originally billed to play the Lisdoonvarne Festival before it was canceled - instead she rescheduled the concert to Vicar Street last Saturday night.

Although she hasn't had many memorable songs out in the past couple of years classic hits such as Marlene on the Wall, Luka, and Tom's Diner ensured she played to a sell out crowd.

Suzanne also played a couple more gigs in The Millbank Theatre in Rush before she headed off for her tour across the UK.
