Noel's Not Singing for England...

According to reports Oasis' Noel Gallagher flatly refused to scribe and sing the England soccer team's official song as he supports Ireland.

It is no big secret that Liam and Noel Gallagher's lineage is 100% Irish with both of their parents hailing from the Emerald Isle.

And apart from their Mancunian accents the boys 100% Irish in everything they do.

So it was no surprise that Noel Gallagher turned down the opportunity to record the official England song and sing it at Wembley.

Noel told the press: "I do follow England because they have some good players. But when push comes to shove, I'm in the Ireland end. I've always supported Ireland since I was a kid."

He went on, "Oasis were asked to do the England song and go on at Wembley - my uncles would have killed me!"

It has also been reported that Liam Gallagher and his fiancee Nicole Appleton want to move to either Ireland or Canada to avoid English tabloid intrusion in their relationship.
