There we were hanging outside U2 at Croker last night expecting the usual bevy of photocall models and TV presenter types, when up rocks Tudors actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers with long term on/off girlfriend Reena Hammer on his arm. Both of the loved-up love birds were wearing gold bands on their wedding fingers... So, has the high profile pair finally got hitched?

With a few well reported public boozy breakdowns and suggestions of numerous rehab stints - it looked like the wheels were coming off his burgeoning award winning movie career...

But over the past number of years there has been a constant thing in Jonny's life in the form of his stunning English girlfriend Reena Hammer. Although, they have been off as much as they have been on - the handsome couple always seem to fall back onto each other's arms.

Last night we spotted the celebrity duo approaching Croke Park on their way to attend the final night of U2's 360 tour. But on closer inspection it turned-out BOTH Reena and Jonathan were wearing gold bands on their wedding fingers... Intriguing.

Now it's merely media speculation (no, not us!) but it could well turn-out that this hot pairing have just got engaged or even Wed in secret! Now that would be a happy ending... Watch this space folks.

U2’s final night was supported by The Script and Bell X1. Apparently the afterparty was held at The Sycamore Club, whilst over at Lillies Bordello U2 stragglers such as Brian Ormond and Pippa O'Connor chose to have a tipple there...

From reports we got last night, the U2 boys flew out of Ireland right after the gig - back to their base in the South of France... Well, after playing to about 250,000 people over 3 nights, they've earned the break.
