Moby Set for Slane...

Moby, looks set to be the surprise artist to play this summer's Slane concert ShowBiz Ireland can reveal. Inside sources say that after the American artist's sell out shows over the weekend in both Galway and Cork he would be perfect for the 80,000 capacity event on the bank holiday August weekend.

Speaking to ShowBiz Ireland exclusively the source said that the artist has not let been nailed down to play but is currently being chased by promoters.

"Moby, sold out two gig's for over 5,000 people over the weekend in Cork and Galway. This is very difficult to do. He would be perfect for Slane and he has already sold nearly one million albums with his new offering, Play."

Rumours so far are that Canadian rocker Brian Adams or the Welsh band The Stereophonics may top the bill but these rumours have been rubbished by sources.
