Bono gives Jagger some screen-writing tips...

Ireland's U2 star BONO ,who wrote the screenplay for the movie starring Mel Gibson, The million dollar hotel, has become such an expert on writing scripts that he is now advising fellow rockers on how to write the ultimate screenplay. Bono's first pupil has been the Rolling Stone Mick Jagger.

During Jagger's last trip here he meet up with Bono in a city centre night-club where the duo in the company of Corr's singer Andrea. The topic discussed was Jagger's first film attempt which has the working title "The Long Play."

Jagger's publicists have confirmed that the signer is writing his own movie and that 60s bad boy of rock is writing it based on the life of a pop star. The film will be directed by Hollywood heavyweight Martin Scorsese.

A spokesman for the singer's production company, Jagged Films, said: "It's an insider's look at the music business and the Machiavellian world of hit-making. I imagine he will bring his own experiences to bear but it will be a work of fiction."

Andrea Corr on the other hand is trying to distance herself away from everyone and every movie role she is being offered. This also includes Eddie Irvine if rumours were to be believed. Reports are that the now not so steady Eddie has been chasing everyone's favourite Corr. The truth however is a little different. Eddie did attend the London Fleadh in Finsbury Park. And he did attend the party backstage with The Corr's. Eddie however was there with his latest squeeze a Spanish stunner and only talked to one Corr.

Sadly that was his friend Jim Corr. A close friend of the driver told ShowBiz Ireland "Eddie was already too busy with a Spanish girl to even try anything with Andrea."

In the meantime Andrea has bigger fish to fry. A spokesperson for The Corr's has confirmed she is in discussions for her first movie role. " Andrea has been offered a role in a movie called 'The Four Feathers' and is currently in discussions about taking up the offer."
