Creamfields
2001- Report & Pics...
The sun was shining on Punchestown on Saturday as
thousands of people gathered for the second annual
Creamfields gig. With six arenas and over 80
performers, it was the hottest ticket of the Summer.
Top acts included Fatboy Slim, Beck
(who were very camera shy), Outkast and the
Chemical Brothers.

Unfortunately
Boy George had to cancel at the last minute.
James Barton, founder of Cream, told ShowBizIreland.com
that he thought it was a fantastic event and he was
already looking forward to next year.
Fatboy
Norman Cook
The
highlight of the event was Norman Cook, aka
Fatboy Slim. Playing for over an hour and a half in
the packed Boutique arena, Norman described his Creamfields
experience as 'amazing'.

At
the after show party in The Clarence Hotel, he also
told ShowBizIreland.com how much he likes Dublin,
saying "Zoe (Ball) and I love it here...
We always have a great time".

And
a great time we had too. As I was leaving The Clarence
at 5am and the sun was rising, the champagne corks
were still popping!
