Sir Paul's Traditional Irish Wedding...

A drunken Irish man tried to break into Paul McCartney's wedding on Tuesday to give the happy couple a nice little Irish song.

Unfortunately, he was stopped by police at the gate and was unable to give his performance to the couple.

A local police sergeant said, "I think it wads a case of the man having too much to drink and wanting to sing a song at the wedding."

The man was later detained on suspicion of drink driving.

The wedding in the end was very low key with stars such as Bono and the actor Steve Buscemi attending with Stella McCartney and the rest of the family.

Sir Paul chose the church as it was the local village of Castleblaney that his mother, who died when Paul was just 14, was from before she moved to Liverpool at the age of 11.
