Niall Quinn's Japanese Nightmare...

Ireland may have been robbed yesterday when we lost to Spain but this was the last thing on the mind of the wife of Ireland's veteran goal scorer Niall Quinn.

Gillian Quinn has been stuck in Japan since last weekend after refusing to get back on the same plane that flew her and the couple's kids over in the first place.

Gillian's sister Valerie Roe, manager of Bono's favorite nightspot Lillies Bordello, has been trying to calm her younger sister aka Mrs. Quinn down over the past week as she has had countless problems with airlines.

Speaking to ShowBizIreland.com Valerie said Gillian was extremely upset and very nervous about making the return trip to Ireland. "She was a nervous wreak this week before she flew home. She could not get a flight until Tuesday out of Japan and only got back to Ireland on Wednesday."

She also admitted "Gillian told me that during the flight over the plane dumped fuel in mid air and they could see it through the window. Then they had to land somewhere where a baggage truck crashed into the side of the plane. So, after a number of terrible incidents she refused to fly back with the same airline to Ireland."
