Geldof Fights for the Father...

Bob Geldof has attacked the British legal system and called its laws on custody biased towards women which should be "scrapped and rewritten."

Speaking in a UK TV interview the 50 year old Irish rocker says, "I wanted to have my children fifty per cent of the time. In the end it came down to myself or Paula (Yates his late ex-wife.) I waited a long time and I got tired of hearing how much Paula loved the children, which she did endlessly as did I."

He continued, "The law in effect is not so much biased towards the mother but very discriminatory against the father. Up until now women haven't gone out to work men have gone out to work and they have provided and the women have nurtured. The social consensus has changed hugely since the law was drafted. The law is inflexible and worse in this case. It should be scrapped and rewritten."
