King Arthur Secret Set Pictures...

ShowBiz Ireland has been criticized in the past for concentrating mainly on going-ons in Dublin only, so we ventured out into the countryside over the weekend to spy on King Arthur!

A-list Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer is preparing to begin filming the epic tale of King Arthur in Ireland at the moment - the extras have been cast and the massive sets are being built.

So we thought we would go and get a secret look of how things are proceeding at one of the locations - wait for it - Ballymore Eustace, Co.Kildare... Yes ShowBiz Ireland just went country!

Anyway, after much scrambling through forests and clambering over fences and ditches we got within a few hundred meters of the set which looks very near to completion.

Only hindered by a river ShowBiz Ireland got up as close as we could to medieval set which consisted of newly constructed castle walls as far as the eye could see.

We also spotted an Irish flag over the archway entrance to the castle - the Irish set crew obviously trying to rewrite British legend!
