Flatley Performs for the Warlords...

Lord of the Dance Michael Flatley caused a bit of a stir amongst world leaders at the weekend when he performed his Warlords routine in St Petersburg, Russia.

Such was the honour of getting the opportunity to dance for world leaders including Vladimir Putin, George Bush, Tony Blair and our own Bertie Ahern that Michael Flatley came out of retirement for the show.

The G8 and EU heads of state were in the Russian city of St Petersburg for celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of the city.

After the show Russian President Putin went backstage to ask Michael why he chose the provocative Warlords piece. But the wily Irish dancer was staying tight-lipped simply replying that the president make his "own conclusions."
