Cillian's Scarecrow Vs Colin's Bullseye...

Another of Ireland's easy-on-the-eye and talented sons Cillian Murphy is about to take Hollywood by storm with a comic book baddie to rival Colin Farrell's Bullseye...

In recent memory perhaps only Jack Nicloson's Joker from Batman could top Colin Farrell's Bullseye from Daredevil in the comic book baddie stakes but Cillian Murphy could soon change all that.

The 29 year old Cork native has been snapped up by Hollywood after the massive success of the chilling 28 Days Later and landed his first blockbuster role in Batman Begins.

Murphy told Australia's Entertainment Guide in reference to Farrell's character in Daredevil: "It was a shite film, but he was brilliant in it".

He went on to talk about his role in Caped Crusader movie under the helm of acclaimed Memento director: "I like to mix it up a bit. Batman Begins is my first experience in a full-on blockbuster. My interests don't generally lie in those sorts of films, but the director is Chris Nolan, the script is wonderful and it's a great cast."

"I can have a bit of fun with it, too, because my only motivation really is being bad," he said.

In the movie Bruce Wayne (Batman) must do battle with the wicked Ra's Al Ghul, and the infamous Dr. Jonathan Crane, AKA The Scarecrow. Batman tracks Al Ghul to the city of London where he must confront the criminal mastermind.
